More About Events
Events at Bethany’s Table are something special. Every meal can be customized to suit the unique composition of your party. Our large community tables are perfectly suited to enable you and your friends and family to enjoy a meal you’ll never forget. We combine an assortment of entrées that can feed a group of individuals with diverse dietary needs and preferences with upsetting the sense of community that flows from a relaxed pace and the lost art of passing the platter. Wine Tasting Dinners:
Every Friday night we host a wine tasting dinner. Typically a group of up to 16 people are seated together and served four courses of food that are paired with up to five wines. These wines are selected on a theme, an electic assortment of themes such as “Old World-New World”, “Walla Walla Valley”, “Multi-Generational Wineries”, “Oak & Winemaking”, etc. It’s usually quite educational and it’s always fun. Private wine tasting dinners are a frequent occurrence at our table. These are similar to our regular Friday events but they can be tailored to suit the preferences and proclivities of your group. Whether it’s a book club, girls night out, business team building or your 40th birthday, it’s a great way to get together.
Beer Tasting:
Beer tasting and beer tasting dinners is a less developed initiative at Bethany’s Table. The Northwest is big on beer and our neighborhood is chock-full of folks who love and appreciate beer. We have hosted an informal “Home Brew Tasting” where local hobby brewers brought in samples of their wares to share with neighbors and we made burgers for the adults and sliders for the kiddies. We aspire to hold a series of home brewer competitions to select four or five brews that we can pair with courses of food in a grand finale “Home Brewmaster Dinner”. We will need our neighbors to step up and lead the way here and we are sure they are up to the task.
Fundraising:
There are so many worthy initiatives in our community that are under-funded. We enjoy making this warm and gracious venue available to our neighbors to put on events that allow us to come together as philanthropists who know how to have a good time. We have had great success here and we are happy to work with you. Contact us to arrange a meeting and we will explore a way to help you move your project forward.
