January’s Closure

Seasons greetings and happy holidays!

We hope that you had a restful and joyous holiday with your family and friends.

David and Janet split for their holiday weekend and spent time with their respective kids and grandkids. Once upon a time the holidays were spent together as a cohesive bunch, but these days, the families have grown so large that it’s a logistical and spacial challenge getting everyone all in the same place. Janet fantasizes about getting everyone together at Bethany’s Table one year.. but for now, she is glad to pass the task of cooking off for a weekend.

And now, David is staring down the barrel of his next big task.. phase 2 of our remodel.

This next feat begins on January 1st and carries throughout the entire month. We will be closed in both The Marketplace and the restaurant until early February, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

For you Marketplace fanatics, we will open The Marketplace the first Wednesday in January (1/4) to give you one last chance to fill your freezers and attempt to clear house.

What’s this next phase have in store for us, you ask?

This is an inspiration photo for the bar. This is not what ours will look like, but it is a representation of the spirit, look and feel we are going for.

Aside from a ton of work for David.. this second and final (🤞) phase brings the installation of our custom-made, pub-style, sit-down wooden bar, the addition of a climate controlled wine cellar, and a total reorganization and revamping of our kitchen line.

We (David especially) are pouring our heart, soul, sweat, tears and hard earned cash into this remodel. We’ve pulled everything together to make this possible, and are thrilled and truly blessed to be able to bring you the next phase of Bethany’s Table and build upon the ways we serve you. We hope you will make us your choice destination for happy hour, corporate gatherings, date nights and private events.

We will still have a special menu and program for Valentine’s Day, as usual. We will release more details in January. So please, keep us in mind and on your radar for your Valentine’s Day dinner.

For now.. we’re facing the belly of the beast and dreaming of the other side.

Wish us luck!
